Jaguar has confirmed that it will launch the remarkable C-X75 concept car as an exclusive hybrid supercar.
Jaguar C-X75 will become the British marque’s most advanced model to date. It will offer performance on a par with the fastest production cars on the market, while adopting cutting-edge technology that offers remarkably economical running. Jaguar expects this hybrid supercar to deliver incredibly low CO2 emissions of less than 99g/km while being able to achieve in excess of 200mph.

According to new reports, Jaguar is planning on building a new factory in the UK to produce a new engine. Sources say that the new engine will be a brand new 6-cylinder engine that could be offered in the United States in the XF and XJ sedan.

Currently, all Jaguar’s sold in the United States come with a 5.0L V8. The naturally aspirated version of the V8 produces 385-hp while the other supercharged versions make 475-hp or 510-hp.

There’s a Jaguar on the loose as the British brand has unveiled the 2012 XF at the New York Auto Show.

Drawing inspiration from the XJ, the updated model features a new front fascia which incorporates a revised grille and bi-xenon headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. Elsewhere, there’s a new hood, modified front fenders and redesigned LED taillights.

A Los Angeles Jaguar dealership is pulling in interesting publicity stunt. Galpin Jaguar is offering a $1,000 American Express Gift Card to anyone who test drives a new Jaguar and ends up buying a competing model.

“If a customer buys or leases an eligible comparably equipped Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Lexus or Porsche within 10-days after a new Jaguar test-drive at Galpin, they will receive an American Express Gift Card valued at $1,000,” the dealer said.
