Perhaps it is the view of the Bentley dealership out his window, but something has inspired Gregorio Peña to dream big. From an apartment building in Madrid, Peña wants to create Spain’s answer to both Tesla and Venturi.

Seen here in renderings, the Izaro GT-E would be available as either an all-electric car or a hybrid, capable of sprinting to 100 km/h in under four seconds. If all goes according to plan, the car would have a top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph). This would be thanks to nearly 500 horsepower (373 kW) in electric motors, or a 416 hp (310 kW) hybrid powerplant.
