Craig Lieberman is known for his Toyota Supra, which was featured in the movie Fast and Furious.

His latest creation, the Uber M3 (uber means ultimate in German language) features 20 inch HRE 540R custom one-off wheels, a $7500 Flossman widebody kit, Lamborghini candy blue paint and lots of carbon fiber. The wheels, featuring a huge 5 inch rear lip on an 11 inch wide fully polished-to-the-inner lip, which retail for about $9200.

Real Wheelz is making 1/8th scale models of the Uber M3 for worldwide distribution, and Sparco seats, a Hot Inazuma “Earthing kit” and carbon fiber goodies from CA AutoTech are now installed. Audio/video is still under construction.

Recently, 14 inch Stop Tech brakes front and rear (about $10,000), KW Version 3 coil overs, twin nitrous systems, Hotchkis Tuning sway bars, RennSport/Gruppe M carbon fiber intake and a MagnaFlow prototype exhaust have all been added. UmNitza did the angel eye coversion and Stealth bulbs finish off the outside. A full roll cage was added and a special feature includes the built in laptop tray mounted to the cage, rear quarter window Xenarc TV screens and flip down 10 inch TV screen.

The Lamborghini/PPG candy blue has made this car a one-off creation unlike any other BMW in the world. Dubbed “Project Uber M3,” Craig Lieberman invested more than $57,000 in this car thus far.

The 3 series BMW from Hartge is a masterpiece in many ways and not all of them are visual. The Hartge engineers have achieved something very special under the thermodynamically optimized bonnet in particual. Fitted with a modified M5 V10 engine, a 7-speed SMG transmission and the Hartge modification to raise top speed from the electronically limited 155 mph to 200 mph, the H50 V10 puts all its power – 550 bhp and torque of 384 lb-ft – onto the tarmac via a reinforced rear axle and a special suspension setup that is adjustable in terms of both rebound and compression.

Also new and made especially for the Hartge H50 V10, is the stainless steel exhaust system, which turns the V10 sound into an acoustic delight. Customers can choose between two dual round (or oval) tail pipes. The wheel / tire combination consists of 9 x 20 offset 40 at the front and 10 x 20 offset 40 at the back fitted with 245/30 ZR20 and 285/25 ZR20 tires respectively.

The Interior

The interior highlights are a 205 mph speedometer, the carbon interior trim, the 3-spoke leather steering wheel with carbon inserts, the illuminated aluminum gear knob and the leather handbrake cover.

With the H50 V10, Hartge is continuing its long tradition of making wolves in sheep’s clothing for individualists who attach importance to understatement.

The H50 V10 is based on the BMW 3 series saloon (E90). A comparable conversion is currently being developed for the Touring (E91) and Coupe (E92).

Alpina GB announced lower prices and enhanced equipment levels for the exciting BMW Z4-based two seater convertible.

Strong performance comes courtesy of the 300 bhp available at 6300 rpm and the Roadster S’ low kerb weight of 2910 lb. Together they yield a 0-62 mph sprint time of just 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 165 mph.

Newly accessible pricing of the Roadster will do little to diminish the exclusivity of the Alpina marque on British roads. Production of the entire range, including ultra-high performance derivatives of BMW 3 series Coupe and Convertible plus 5 and 7 Series Saloons, remains restricted to about 120 cars in the UK in 2005.

Developed in a unique collaboration with BMW, Alpina power units are hand built in Buchloe and transported to Munich with specifically engineered Alpina handling components and accessories, for assembly by BMW as complete Alpina cars and marketed in the UK with a BMW 2 year new car warranty.

The BMW Alpina Roadster range starts at £37,850 mrrp OTR, and standard specification includes:

  • Climate Control Air Conditioning
  • Special Alpina Extended Leather
  • 19” Alpina DYNAMIC Wheels
  • 6 CD Changer
  • Cruise Control
  • Park Distance Control
  • Multi-function Steering Wheel
  • Economy & Environment

Fuel consumption is commensurate with the performance level of the Roadster S with a combined figure of 28.5 mpg (Urban 18.6mpg, Extra-Urban 40.9mpg). The CO2 combined emission value is 238 g/km.

Committed to developing the best performing vehicles in the luxury market, BMW with Alpina has created a special high performance version of BMW’s 7 Series luxury sedan. The 2006 BMW Alpina B7 brings together the luxury, pioneering design, and advanced technology of the 7 Series Sedan with the scintillating performance of a supercharged, 500 bhp V8 engine.

To power the BMW Alpina B7, Alpina specially developed a higher-performance version of BMW’s 4.4-liter, 90-degree V8 engine and mated it to a 6-speed automatic transmission featuring steering wheel mounted shift controls. The motor produces 500 horsepower at 5,500 rpm along with maximum torque of 516 lb-ft at 4,250 rpm, and propels the B7 from 0-60 mph in a mere 4.8 seconds. Alpina 21-inch wheels carry Z-rated performance tires, while the sport-tuned suspension includes Active Roll Stabilization. The B7 aerokit includes a rear spoiler to improve stability, handling, and performance at high speeds.

Alpina was established in 1964 as an official and approved “ennobler” of BMW automobiles. Their tradition is to take production BMWs and make them even more appealing to connoisseurs of automotive finery.

With this new model, BMW will raise the benchmark for the segment in terms of performance, refinement, technology, and luxury. Approximately 200 US-version cars are planned for the 2006 model year, with a release date in July 2006.
