
Formula One teams have setup a new organization with the aim of presenting a united front in commercial negotiations with the FIA and Bernie Ecclestone’s Formula One Management group of companies. F1 is operating at present without a new Concorde Agreement–which governs the sport and outlines revenue payouts to teams–and the new group is charged with reaching an agreement with the sport’s commercial rights holder.

The Internal Revenue Service – IRS for short, has issued a certification letter affirming that Volkswagen’s new Jetta TDI diesel-powered Sedan and Sportwagen models qualify for the Advanced Lean Burn Technology Motor Vehicle income tax credit. Money-wise, that means that buyers of the specific vehicles are eligible for a $1,300 Federal Income Tax Credit.

For 2009 Mercedes-Benz has introduced its most powerful road car to date, the SL 65 AMG Black Series. It features a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 pumping out 661 bhp and 738 lb-ft torque.
