General Motors has released some photos of its revised Pontiac G6 sedan, coupe, and convertible models. The popular lineup has received a number of relatively minor styling tweaks intended to keep the strong seller fresh for the next few years.
The update includes a new front fascia and air-intakes, as well as a slightly tweaked rear. The interior appears to be unchanged aside from the addition of GM’s corporate “bow-tie†radio. GM has not indicated if there will be any mechanical improvements to the car at this juncture.
Marketed as a 2009.5 model, the vehicle will replace the short-lived 2009 model, which has been at dealerships for a few months. The biggest change for 2009 models was the availability of a six-speed automatic and four-cylinder combination already seen in the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu.
